Meet Susan C. Flowers

Susan C. Flowers is a Christian author, devotional writer, certified Christian coach, speaker, retreat leader, Bible study leader, cancer survivor, wife, mother, business owner, founder of Cancer Care Package, and advocate for children in the foster care system.

Her writing blends biblical truth, personal experience, prayer, nature, travel, humor, and honest encouragement to help readers stand firm in faith and draw closer to Jesus Christ.

Susan spends time in both St. Augustine, Florida, and Blue Ridge, Georgia. She loves travel, being on the water or in the mountains, playing pickleball, spending time with family and friends, and hiking with her golden retriever, Sadie.

Her Heart

Susan’s heart is to encourage others to recognize God’s presence in every season, stand firm in their identity in Christ, pray God’s Word, and live led by the Holy Spirit.

Her books and messages are rooted in Scripture and centered on Jesus.

What Susan Believes

Susan believes in one God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. She believes the Bible is God’s inspired and authoritative Word, that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and Savior of the world, and that salvation is by grace through faith in Him.

Life, Faith, and Writing

Much of Susan’s writing is shaped by the places and seasons where God has met her: quiet trails, mountain views, ocean air, hospital waiting rooms, prayer circles, family moments, and the sacred ordinary.

My Purpose

My hope in writing is not that my words themselves would accomplish something, but that I would be a vessel—an offering placed in God’s hands—and that through me, He might speak to you.

I pray that something you read here reminds you that God is near. That He loves you more deeply than you can comprehend. That His presence is with you in the ordinary moments, the difficult seasons, the questions, the waiting, and the battles no one else can see.

I pray that He uses these words to strengthen you, encourage you, give you wisdom, restore your hope, and embolden your faith.

I want to remind you that Jesus came for you, gave Himself for you, and loves you with a love from which nothing can separate you. The same God who breathed the galaxies into existence knows you intimately, walks with you personally, and desires to guide you, lead you, and fill you with His peace.

There is nothing I could say or do on my own that could truly change a heart or a life. But God can.

So my prayer is simply this: that I would be available to Him. That my life and my words would be an offering. That through me, God would give you whatever encouragement, truth, strength, or reminder of His love you need in the moment you find these pages.

If anything I write draws you nearer to Him, reminds you that you are loved, or gives you courage to keep walking in faith, then it has fulfilled its purpose.

That is why I am here.
That is what I hope to offer.
And that is my prayer for you.

In grace and peace,
Susan
