My Purpose
My hope in writing is not that my words themselves would accomplish something, but that I would be a vessel—an offering placed in God’s hands—and that through me, He might speak to you.
I pray that something you read here reminds you that God is near. That He loves you more deeply than you can comprehend. That His presence is with you in the ordinary moments, the difficult seasons, the questions, the waiting, and the battles no one else can see.
I pray that He uses these words to strengthen you, encourage you, give you wisdom, restore your hope, and embolden your faith.
I want to remind you that Jesus came for you, gave Himself for you, and loves you with a love from which nothing can separate you. The same God who breathed the galaxies into existence knows you intimately, walks with you personally, and desires to guide you, lead you, and fill you with His peace.
There is nothing I could say or do on my own that could truly change a heart or a life. But God can.
So my prayer is simply this: that I would be available to Him. That my life and my words would be an offering. That through me, God would give you whatever encouragement, truth, strength, or reminder of His love you need in the moment you find these pages.
If anything I write draws you nearer to Him, reminds you that you are loved, or gives you courage to keep walking in faith, then it has fulfilled its purpose.
That is why I am here.
That is what I hope to offer.
And that is my prayer for you.
In grace and peace,
Susan
